These images reflect the heartbreaking journey of moving on and leaving the marital home. They are evidence of the passage of time and, ultimately, of our mortality.

The remaining objects, items, and personal treasures are evidence of our life kept safe in the security of our home, yet they look abandoned and discarded. What is their fate and who will they be passed on to once we move on. Due to a society of mass consumerism, these once loved items are unlikely to be reused as they are too old and not on trend. When creating these images, I saw a teacup, a cupboard, and a room full of history and stories.
